Completed a 7-week asynchronous seminar that focused on applying principles of research to teaching-related questions (e.g., Teaching as Research: TaR)
Wrote a research proposal for the How-Tos of Research class titled “Do formative assessments in the form of weekly short quizzes positively impact student learning and retention of material?”
CTL Innovative Course Design Seminar
Completed a 4-part intensive series on evidence-based, inclusive, and online instructional design practices, as well as how to develop context-specific learning objectives and scaffolded assessments
Designed syllabus for the “How-Tos of Research” Class as capstone project(see above)
CTL Senior Teaching Assessment Fellow
Manage a team of 4 other graduate student teaching assessment fellows (TAF)
Partner with faculty members on Provost Funded Projects (PFPs) to help assess the effectiveness
of Teaching as Research projects
Lead meetings for other TAFs on survey design, assessing effectiveness of teaching interventions,
and qualitative and quantitative analysis
Lead Teaching Fellow with the CTL
Organized 2 teaching-related workshops for the psychology department
